Scottsdale, Ariz. – In its continued expansion in the Midwest, Troon Golf® is pleased to announce that it will be managing operations at Wausau Country Club, a private golf club in Schofield, Wisconsin. Located in the shadows of Rib Mountain, this club was established in 1899 and offers members and guests a superb private golf club experience.
This par 71, 6,388-yard E.L. Packard-designed course features four sets of tee boxes, perfect to challenge players of all skill levels. The beautifully manicured fairways and greens are surrounded by Lake Wausau, with water coming into play on eight of the 18 majestic holes. A mix of northern Wisconsin pine and hardwood trees line the fairways and provide picturesque golf throughout spring, summer and fall. The driving range, practice areas, and highly trained staff complete the Troon Golf private club experience at Wausau Country Club.
