Coyote Ridge Golf Club, an 18-hole semi-private club in Carrollton, Texas, just north of Dallas, recently joined the Troon family. Troon Golf, the resort and daily-fee club operations division of Troon, will manage the golf, agronomy, restaurant, and club operations.
Originally opened for play in 1999, Coyote Ridge Golf Club is a George Williams design. In 2005, the Sam Moon Group purchased and renovated the golf course. Course enhancements included bunker renovations, the addition of 1,000-plus trees, and new tee boxes, which helped to lengthen the golf course.
The front nine is an open, links-style routing with water coming into play on six of the nine holes, while the back nine is a tighter experience, twisting and turning within the confines of a former Trinity River gravel quarry, now lavishly landscaped with natural grasses, blooming seasonal flowers, and hundreds of oak, pecan, and elm trees. The 7,003-yard, par-72 golf course is considered one of the finest and most challenging in the Dallas Metroplex.

Coyote Ridge Golf Club’s 26,000-square-foot clubhouse features a well-appointed golf shop; men’s and women’s locker rooms; two private dining and meeting rooms; The Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 300 guests; and The Grill 19 restaurant and bar. The Grill 19 is open for lunch and dinner, providing guests with beautiful golf course views.
