Team Troon On Tour: Fitzpatrick with a T2 at BMW. Montgomerie with a Top 10

PGA TOUR- BMW Championship
The BMW Championship was the second to last stop of the FedEx Cup before The Tour Championship and Team Troon Matt Fitzpatrick had a great week competing at Olympia Fields. After firing a 66 on the first round, Fitzpatrick went on to shoot in the 60’s the rest of the week, leading him to finish -15 and T2 for the tournament. Besides making birdies all week, Fitzpatrick fired precision iron shots on the Par 3’s. On this final round on Hole #6 he hit his iron shot to three feet and Hole #16 on he hit it within 5 feet. With this fantastic finish, Fitzpatrick is now ranked 10th in the FedEx Cup playoffs where he started in the 40th spot. Not to mention his all Troon bag received great TV coverage during the weekend.

PGA TOUR Champions Tour-Shaw Charity Classic
Colin Montgomerie had a great week this week in the Shaw Charity Classic as he found his was back in the Top 10 for the event with the score of -9 for all three rounds. After this event, Montgomerie is now ranked 20th overall in Charles Schwab Cup points.

COMING UP
PGA TOUR-Tour Championship
The final stop on the regular PGA TOUR season is here! The Tour Championship is being held at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA and Team Troon member Matt Fitzpatrick looks to be in great form going into the event. The course will be playing 7,346 yards and the winner who conquers this event will be the winner of the FedEx Cup playoffs as well as earn a 5-year PGA Tour exemption. The World of Troon will also be pulling for Troon Investor/Supporter Rory McIlroy who is in the 4th place ranking for the FedEx Cup playoffs this year is also the current defending champion (and is a three time champion – as he also captured the event in 2016 and 2019.
LPGA Tour-Canadian Women’s Open
The LPGA is currently crossing over the Atlantic as next week’s event is being held in Vancouver for the Canadian Women’s Open. Team Troon Yealimi Noh is in the field and wish her luck to play well!
PGA TOUR Champions Tour-Ally Challenge
The Champions are heading this week are heading the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Michigan for the Ally Challenge and Colin Montgomerie is in the field. Play well this week Colin!
