PGA TOUR – The Players
Golf’s fifth major was an exciting week and it was exciting to cheer on members of Team Troon. Matt Fitzpatrick lead the way by playing some great golf, hitting some big drives and staying in contention all week. He came out firing during round one. After a one over start on his first three holes he went on to play the rest of his round seven under. Ultimately shooting a 66 and finishing the event in solo 5th at 16 under. Alex Noren also played well all week and notably went bogey free during his second and fourth round to land in the top 20 and nine under. Congrats to Gary Woodland as well for playing into the weekend and finishing 72nd!

LPGA Tour/Epson Tour – IOA Golf Classic Presented by LPT Realty
The Epson Tour this week took place at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Florida for the IOA Golf Classic Presented by LPT Realty. This event has been on the Epson Tour since 2013. Benedetta Moresco started the event going -3 in her first nine holes of round one. She ultimately would finish in the top 30 with a three round total of two over. Solid Top 30 finish Benny!

COMING UP
PGA TOUR – Valspar Championship
The PGATOUR stays in Florida this week for the Valspar Championship. It is great to reflect on this event: Back in 2011, Team Troon member Gary Woodland won the event at -15 (one ahead of Webb Simpson). Gary Woodland, Justin Thomas and Matt Kuchar are the three Team Troon members who will be taking on Innisbrook’s, Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Fl.
EPSON TOUR – Atlantic Beach Championship
The Epson Tour concludes its three-week-long Florida swing this week as players take on Atlantic Beach Country Club for the inaugural Atlantic Beach Classic. Benedetta Moresco and her all Troon bag is in the field of 132 others competing for the $300,000 purse and a winner’s share of $45,000. Go low this week Benny!
After the Atlantic Beach Classic concludes Saturday, Benedetta will hop on a flight to Arizona to next week as she is in the Monday Local Qualifier for the LPGA FORD Championship presented by KCC. Lets all wish her the best to dominate on Monday and we will be rooting her on Thursday to Sunday next week in Arizona.

ICYMI The second season of Full Swing dropped earlier this month and Team Troon Members (Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick and Alex Fitzpatrick) were prominently featured in multiple episodes, along with Troon investor/supporter Rory McIlroy. The Troon logo was spotted in numerous spots in both the Fitzpatrick episode and also in the Justin Thomas episode (both with Justin Thomas and on his father’s golf shirt in Mike Thomas).
