Team Troon On Tour: Thomas & Kuchar finish T10, Finca Cortesin ready for Solheim Cup

PGA TOUR – Fortinet Championship at Silverado Resort

The PGA TOUR was back to a Troon facility last week  at Silverado Resort in Napa, CA. This event has been held there since 2015, making it the 9th year in a row. Our amazing team of associates at Silverado have done such a  great job getting the course in tour shape and congratulate them on such a successful event! Team Troon members Matt Kuchar, Justin Thomas and Alex Noren were in the field. Low Team Troon members last week were Matt Kuchar and Justin Thomas who both played well and finished within the Top 10. Justin Thomas carded multiple eagles during the week (3rd and 4th round)  Matt Kuchar carding eagles during his 1st and 2nd round and even going bogey free on his third round. Great playing Team Troon and great job to the entire team of relentlessly dedicated associates at Silverado!

PGA CHAMPIONS- Sanford International

The Champions Tour competed this week at Minnehaha Country Club un South Dakota and Team Troon member Colin Montgomerie played solid all week (including an eagle during his third round) the finish -1 for the event.

• T52 Colin Montgomerie: 72-69-68 = 209 / -1

COMING UP

LPGA Tour – Solheim Cup at Troon affiliated locale

While not Team Troon per say, we would be remiss if we did not share how this is a truly exciting week for Troon and specifically for our client/associates at Spain’s Finca Cortesin. This stunning Troon affiliated locale is playing host to the best women golfers in the world in the Solheim Cup!

It will be fun to tune into the competition against beautiful Spanish backdrops. If social is your way to tune in, The Solheim Cup social handles (and others) are doing an amazing job featuring Finca Cortesin (including a cool feature of the practice facility pushed by @GolfDigest yesterday). Best of luck to both teams and congratulations in advance to the dedicated Finca Coresin associates who are preparing for such a prestigious event!

Epson Tour – Headed to Troon-managed Mystic Creek GC

Also in the vein of Women’s Golf…best of luck to our team at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas who are hosting the Epson Tour and the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout this week. Last year, Britney Yada captured a 2 shot victory at the #1 Ranked course in Arkansas in Mystic Creek.

We are incredibly proud that in a span of two weeks, Troon locales are hosting the PGA Tour (Silverado), Solheim Cup (Finca Cortesin) and Epson Tour (Mystic Creek). Congrats in advance to all of our associates at these stunning locales!
