The Golf Club at Els Club Desaru Coast Embraces the Spirit of Lunar New Year
Recently, The Els Club Desaru Coast embraced the spirited traditions of the Lunar New Year, ushering in the Year of the Dragon with an enchanting Lion Dance performance. The golf club in Malaysia came to life with this captivating spectacle, led by local dancers, which enraptured all who attended with its vivid colours and rhythmic movements, symbolizing a ceremonial blessing to invite prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. Amidst the performance, offerings of lettuce, pomelo, and tangerines were presented to the lion, each carrying auspicious blessings and well wishes. The lively procession of lion dancers meandered through the clubhouse, traversing from the lobby into each outlet, infusing every corner of the esteemed establishment with joy and blessings.
Adding to the ambiance of the Chinese New Year celebrations, traditional decorations adorned the golf clubhouse, including the Golf Shop and Restaurants, immersing guests and associates in a festive aura rich with cultural vibrancy.
As part of the festivities, the Big Easy Bar & Grill, located at the Ocean Course, extended the celebration with its “Prosperity Yee Sang” promotion until 20 February 2024. This cherished tradition brought families and friends together, fostering moments of joy and togetherness against the backdrop of the stunning coastal setting. Furthermore, golfers were offered the opportunity to partake in the Swing Into Prosperity Golf Deal, valid at both Ocean and Valley Courses until February 24, 2024, extending the celebration and camaraderie onto the golf course.
