The Irish Embassy Challenge at The Allegria Golf Club

The Allegria Golf Club in Cairo, Egypt experienced a true Irish day recently with golf, windy weather, Irish coffee, and lots of prizes delivered from Ireland. The Irish Embassy Challenge welcomed 64 participants competing in a better ball format for the top three positions, special prizes, a raffle prize provided by events partners, but most importantly a great time was spent on the course.

The Allegria Golf course is located very close to many accommodation and entertainment facilities, the great pyramids and the Egyptian Grand Museum. Which makes it a great Golf destination spot and a beautiful golf course to visit and play.
The Irish Embassy Challenge winner team with 44 points was Karim Rafla and Osama Abou El Enein, winning a night and Golf at the luxurious Trump International Doonbeg, links and hotel. Provided by Golf Ireland
Coming in second place by count back team was Kevin Bertoia and Hans Westbroek winning a night and dinner at President hotel in Cairo.
And third place team was Lisa Van Es and Liam Finn with 42 points.
Also the raffle prize; a Nile cruise to Luxor and Aswan provided by event’s partner symphony travel.
