Tim Dietrich Named Assistant General Manager At Kapalua Golf

Kapalua Golf, located on the island of Maui in Hawaii, has named Tim Dietrich as assistant general manager. Kapalua Golf’s Plantation Course is considered by Golfweek magazine as the “Number 1 Course You Can Play in Hawaii,” while the Bay Course at Kapalua ranks number 12.

Dietrich moves to Kapalua from Mid Pacific Country Club on Oahu where he served as general manager for 9 years. Prior to his tenure at MPCC, Dietrich was the club director at Ko Olina Sports Club. He is a 25-plus year veteran of the international golf and resort industry having worked in a variety of key roles, including golf instructor and resort advisor in Guam, Japan and Hawaii.

Dietrich is a Class “A” Member of the PGA of America as well as a member of the Club Managers’ Association of America (CMAA). He has multiple professional certifications, including: Certified Club Manager (with CMAA); United States Professional Tennis Association; and the Professional Tennis Registry. He is fluent in Japanese, French, and Swedish.
